Text - Romans 8:28
You made it to this devotional! And you are reading this because you are (always) in control of your phone.
To want to be in control is to be human created in God’s image to subdue. But how about when the body get weary and tired? How about when things get bigger than you? What about when you are not in control?
What can I do when the government do what they do? What happens when the school calendar gets delayed because of unforeseen circumstances?
The Ideal response is to know and acknowledge we can't do it all and leave everything to God saying “God you are in control”.
To say “I tried my best this semester and even though my results didn't measure up to my dreams, God you know what is best”. To say, “Even as I applied to study Medicine in the University and was given Computer science, God you know the future and you know what is best for me, you are in control”
Here are some affirmation statements of God’s control that you can use;
“God you are in control because whenever I feel lonely, whenever I feel nobody wants me, you are always there to speak to my heart and comfort me”
“Things happening around me might scare me, but I believe God has good plans for me, he is in control”
“God, you are in control. From the beginning, today and forever. Whenever I can't do it myself, I leave to you because you are in control and when you are in control, we win”
“They could only send your son, Jesus to the grave but on the third day, we saw your power, for you are in control”
“God, you have been in control, today won't be exceptional and forever you will be in control”
Our default response to life and her challenges and unexpected hitches should be this - that we know and believe and affirm that God is in control always.
