Text - Isaiah 63:1-6
Majority of Christians seem to have forgotten the battle that happened over 2000 years ago when Jesus hung upon the cross. We keep living in fear, doubt, mediocrity and other things that Christ died to keep us from. Sometimes I wonder if perhaps it's because we don't know what actually transpired between the time of Jesus’ death and his resurrection or probably we are too blinded by the lies of the devil that we have forgotten our rights.
In case you've forgotten, Walk briefly with me down memory lane as we look at what Jesus did and who’s potency hasn't faded. I know we know (because it is common knowledge) that we were all on our way to hell until Jesus came with the gift of salvation but beyond that, Jesus knew there were times when the devil would try to make us live beneath potential, he knew that there were going to be times when fear was going to attack us and he knew that there was no way we would have been able to fight all of these on our own and so as captain of the lord's host he did something - he went to War.
Jesus didn't just go to war, he went solo and conquered thereby giving us the victory and as recorded in Colossians 2:15, he practically dragged, bruised and bloodied the noses of the principalities in their own kingdom. NOTE: IN THEIR OWN KINGDOM
But it's surprising that as children of God we still live in fear, Omo!!!! That's a big error.
There's not a lot that can be said but just know as you go through this day and week that we have a victory and the only limit to walking in this victory is us. Set your heart to walking in victory and living as one whom the victory has been won for.
