Text - Genesis 3:11; John 10:27; Matthew 24:4
I'm not ready to admit anything today but I will tell you from experience that the best lies have a large element of truth in it. No one argues with truth they know. And so many times, people don't even notice that something has been tweaked. Satan knew this, he knows the Truth and is an expert in tweaking it to suit his purpose.
A number of people refer to the devil as a fool ignoring the fact that he is in a lot of ways more calculative than we are. Uncle knew exactly what he was doing when he went to deceive Eve and things worked according to his plan unfortunately. When Adam and Eve realized what they had done, they ran from the person they should've been running to.
"Who told you that you were naked?" God asked them. You see God knows that when you act out, your belief has shifted and it's always, always because of what you've heard or who you've listened to.
Who told you that you're unlovable?
Who told you that you've gone past forgiveness?
Who told you this is your fate?
Jesus said and I paraphrase; my sheep know my voice and they follow me,
Can you condition your ears to ONLY hear your shepherds voice? Do you recognize when the voice isn't his? Unless you do, you will believe all sorts of things and the consequences are never enjoyable…
Lol, Satan probably didn't come to Adam because he had heard God's instruction first hand.
If God said you are chosen and loved who can convince you that you're not? Hear God for yourself! If you're not sure of what someone else has told you, go and ask God. He has called you chosen, not forsaken, believe you are who He says you are.
