Text - Psalm 27:10-11
You took me in and made me yours. Now teach me all about your ways and tell me what to do. Make it clear for me to understand. Psalm 27: 10-11 TPT
Will the path be seen?
Contrary to popular belief, New Years can be quite disorienting. They have been such a haze for me lately. I used to be so clear on the yearly mandate and mission and have so much time to brood over it before the year begins and soak it all in. It has not been that way for almost 3 years. I am given instructions and barely any direction. Being told the what but never the how. It grates me to my core, but God keeps whispering “Trust Me". You might be a planner, very poor at winging things and feel at a loss when surrounded by uncertainty. God is teaching you to trust. And it is amazing what the Psalmist penned down centuries before us, the need for clarity.
We need to remind ourselves that the only way to get clarity is to ask and listen to the person leading and piloting. Not by whining about it, though that would be easier. It is a need for our journey, but it is not the purpose or focus of the journey.
Knowing we have what we ask for, we are assured that even without the details, every step is ordered (1 John 5:14-15). Trust. He knows the way, why not just ask Him?
You can pray this verse right now,
You took me in and made me yours. Now teach me all about your ways and tell me what to do. Make it clear for me to understand. Psalm 27: 10-11 TPT
